Choosing The Best Reusable K Cup Of 2019 (#3 is what I use at home!)
Since I first brought my Keurig coffee maker home, it has been so easy to make a cup of coffee. The Keurig is quick to use, and I love how easily I can make a special cup for my family and me.
But I also quickly noticed how much K cups can cost. Plus, some of my favorite coffees are not available as K cups.
I started using reusable K cups! The best reusable K cups make it possible to save a lot of money by adding your own ground coffee to the cup and rinsing it after use.
Let’s check out the best reusable K cups!

#1 Keurig 2.0 My K-Cup: The Real Deal
Choose the Keurig 2-pack 2.0 My K-Cup 119367 as your reusable K-Cup if you want the real deal. This reusable K cup is made by Keurig, so you can be sure that it will work with the best Keurig coffee maker. Plus, if you have any problems, you can call Keurig to figure it out!
This specific Keurig can work with any ground coffee that you want. You simply add the coffee, and you can brew your coffee!
I like that the top locks down by using a twisting motion. This seal won’t pop open while using it, which can be a problem with off-brand, cheaper items. The top of the filter also has screens to keep the grounds from getting out and damaging your Keurig machine.
Another nice thing about this K cup is that it is made of thick, durable material. It won’t break very easily, and it will work for many years to come!
#2 FANOR Reusable K Filter: For Easy Clean Up
For those that want to be able to easily clean out their reusable filter, the FANOR Reusable K Carafe & Coffee Filter Pod Combo for Keurig 2.0 set is for you!
One of the most frustrating things for me when using reusable filter cups is that they are difficult to clean, especially when they have a full mesh bottom. The water goes right through without taking any of the grounds along, too.
Since this model has a bit more bulk to it, you are able to cup your hands around the K cup to swish water around and quickly clean out the cup! Simple, right?
Plus, these models are hard to accidentally damage. I’ve found that the mesh filters can easily get holes because there is nothing holding the mesh in place, but these have an outer shell that helps to prevent this type of damage.
If you want your K cups to be easy to clean and hard to break, try the reusable K filter cups from FANOR.
#3 Ekobrew Refillable K-cup for Keurig Brewers: My Personal Favorite
The Ekobrew Refillable K-cup for Keurig Brewers is my personal favorite reusable K cup brewer. I’ve found that it is the easiest for me to use, even when I’m half asleep in the morning and just want to get my coffee going as fast as possible!
One thing I love about these K cups is that they have a very large chamber, so it’s possible for me to add more coffee than in other reusable K cups. Since I like to use custom roasted coffee, this is a must! Without this capability, I wouldn’t be able to adjust the amount appropriately.
Plus, your coffee needs room to brew! In the smaller cups, there isn’t enough room for the water to soak into the coffee grounds, so it gets pushed through too quickly, leading to a sub-par cup of coffee. By filling these cups ⅔ of the way, I can get a perfect brew.
If you want the ability to make adjustments, choose the Ekobrew - made in the USA!

#4 MaxBrew 24K GOLD K-Carafe Reusable: For A Big Bew
Next up is the MaxBrew 24K GOLD K-Carafe Reusable K-cup, which is the right choice for coffee lovers that want to make a lot of coffee at once!
This K carafe is a larger version of the K cup which can let you brew four to five cups of coffee at once, so you can make a big batch that will get you through the day. The K carafe made by MaxBrew is compatible with many different Keurig models, but make sure to check that it is compatible with your specific machine before purchasing.
Another nice thing about these reusable accessories is that they work well with Keurig machines. By just putting it in, you can run it nine times out of ten. Sometimes, you’ll just need to take it out and stick it back in to get it to work. Easy, right?
Try out these models from MaxBrew if you want to make a bigger batch of coffee with your Keurig.
#5 Solofill Chrome Refillable Filter Cup: For Those That Hate Sludge
If you’ve ever tried reusable K cups before, you’ll know that it’s possible to end up with a bit of coffee sledge at the bottom of your cup. This is caused by grounds getting out of the K cup and into your mug!
Not only does this taste bad, but it can also clog your machine and cause damage if it happens too often.
With the Solofill Chrome Refillable Filter Cup For Keurig, you don’t have to worry about this problem. The micro-foil chrome filter is permanent, and it is great at keeping sledge from happening. While you might still get some grounds, the amount is so minimal that the sledge effect will be eliminated.
The hinge on this model is higher quality than the hinge on many reusable K cups, so you don’t have to worry about it failing with just a few uses. It’s a sturdy hinge, so you can open and close the K cup securely.
#6 IPM Filters Reusable Gold Plated K-Cups: Long Lasting K Cups
If you want a K cup that will last a long, try the IPM Filters Refillable/Reusable Gold Plated K-Cups. The gold plated filter on the K cups are on for being able to filter many, many cups of coffee without wearing out, which is a huge benefit for those who have at least one cup every day.
This model also has a rubber O ring around the outside that helps prevent any leakage from occurring, and it helps to get a tighter seal on the cup so that it will stay in place throughout brewing, which is great as cheaper models can leak and cause a big mess in your Keurig machine. Nobody wants that.
On top of that, this package is a great value - you get 6 cups with this set, and that will save you money on the reusable cup and also on the coffee that you will brew using this method. If you want to save money, take a closer look at the IPM filters.
#7 Reusable K-Cups by Breworo: For The Lazy
Most of us first bought a Keurig because we are lazy. Admit it! I am willing to say that this is true about me. I was tired of setting up a full brew of coffee every day, and I thought K cups would make it easier.
When I want my reusable K cup to be easy, too, I use the Reusable K-Cups by Breworo. These reusable cups work much like any other reusable cup, but because the mesh is made of stainless steel, I’ve found that cleanup is very easy.
In fact, I don’t clean up right when I brew the coffee. Instead, I let the coffee harden overnight, and then I simply dump it out once it is dry! It’s that easy. The coffee doesn’t stick to the mesh, so clean up is easy.
Of course, I do give them a proper cleaning once a week - by putting them in the dishwasher. The K cups from Breworo are the best choice for anyone who doesn’t want to spend more time cleaning up their K cup than drinking their coffee. You’ll save a lot of time and money by using these reusable K cups.
Reduce Waste & Save Money!
Have you enjoyed checking out the best reusable K cups with me? As I said, there are a ton of different options out there, but #3 is the one that I personally use at home. Every day, I put my blend of choice in this K cup and brew up my coffee.
It’s easy, tasty, and saves me money. Plus, I don’t create as much waste this way. What more could I want?
